YnL Supports NTU Hall 6 Orientation Camp
Starting university is the beginning of a new chapter — new surroundings, new friendships and plenty of new experiences.
For freshmen at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Hall of Residence Six, the Hall 6 Orientation Camp (HSOC) is one of those experiences designed to bring new residents together and help them begin their university journey as a community.
This year, YnL Botanical Aromatherapy Oil was happy to support the NTU Hall 6 Orientation Camp as a sponsor of the freshmen goodie bags.
Supporting Freshmen as They Begin Their University Journey
Held from 28–30 July, the Hall 6 Orientation Camp brought freshmen together for a series of team-building activities, games and high-energy challenges.
Orientation camps are often filled with excitement, laughter and plenty of physical activity. They also give students an opportunity to meet new people, build friendships and become more familiar with their hall community.
For many students, these first few days can become memories that stay with them throughout their university years.
As part of the camp, the organisers prepared freshmen goodie bags to welcome participants and provide them with useful items as they began this new chapter.
YnL was pleased to contribute to these goodie bags by sponsoring YnL Botanical Aromatherapy Oil for the participating freshmen.
A Small Contribution to a Big New Beginning
For YnL, supporting the orientation camp was more than simply placing a product into a goodie bag.
It was an opportunity to be part of a meaningful student experience.
University life can be exciting, but it can also be busy. Students are adapting to new schedules, new surroundings, new responsibilities and new social circles.
Having small everyday essentials that can be carried along can be useful as students settle into their new routines.

From Sponsor to Creative Collaboration
What made this collaboration even more meaningful was what happened after the sponsorship.
As part of the collaboration, the students created a video production featuring YnL Botanical Aromatherapy Oil.
The video gave the students an opportunity to showcase their creativity while introducing YnL in their own way.
For YnL, it was wonderful to see the product brought into a student-created piece of content rather than simply appearing as a sponsored item.
The collaboration became a two-way exchange:
YnL supported the students' orientation experience, while the students shared their creativity and production skills through the video.
We truly appreciate the effort and thought that went into the production.
Celebrating Student Creativity
Student collaborations are meaningful because they provide an opportunity for young people to apply what they have learned, experiment with ideas and create something together.
A video production may involve much more than simply recording a few scenes.
Behind the final video are ideas, planning, scripting, filming, coordination, editing and teamwork.
These are valuable experiences that students can carry with them beyond university.
For YnL, being able to support and witness this creative process was one of the highlights of the collaboration.
More Than a Goodie Bag
A goodie bag may seem like a small part of an orientation camp, but it can become a symbol of welcome for new students.
Each item represents a small gesture of encouragement as freshmen begin their university journey.
We were happy to contribute YnL Botanical Aromatherapy Oil to the Hall 6 freshmen goodie bags and hope it became a useful little companion for students as they settled into campus life.
More importantly, we are grateful for the opportunity to connect with the students through this collaboration.
